Canadian MusicFest 09 Review

We hope you all enjoyed Canadian MusicFest 09 (CMF), and made use of your wristbands to the max. It's unfortunate that the organizers boosted wristband prices from $30 to $50 this year, because it was clearly unjustified. There were also problems with "guaranteed admission" advance tickets as well, which we'll discuss later.

As usual, I'll walk you through how I traversed the festival this year... not that it's any better than the method you used. Just a chance to see how someone else did it.

This coincides, though, with us moving to a different blogging platform. While Blogger has served us well (and we won't be dumping our Blogger archives), we're going to try Apple's iWeb software. While more restricted than Blogger in many ways, it offers tighter integration with Apple's photo and video management tools... something that is important to us, since we use Mac as our platform of choice.

So this particular blog entry is primarily a link to the new platform, where you'll find our CMF coverage.

Assuming that we're satisfied with iWeb, our entries using that platform will appear in this space, and you'll be linked back to the Blogger Archives if you want to review our history.

We apologize if this causes any confusion over the transition period.
