NXNE - June 8-9-10 - Start Planning Now to ENJOY IT LIVE!

Hey, we're just barely over a week away from NXNE - the North by NorthEast Festival for those of you that haven't taken it in before. 400+ bands, 30+ venues, 3 nights. And, there's lot's more, if that's not enough. Check out the official NXNE web site.

There's a few ways to get in to as many gigs as you can handle, but the best bet is the three-day pass at $28. Put on that wrist band and prepare for a marathon of live music. It's good exercise too, if you need to jog from, say, the Horseshoe to Lee's Palace or Sneaky Dee's between acts, while not being tempted to stop for a beer at a pub in between!

There are exceptions, but the general routine is... expect a new band onstage at every venue on the hour, every hour from 9pm 'til 2am. 30-40 minute sets, leaving 20 minutes for bands to do the equipment switch, and you and I to switch venues if the next great band is across the street or across town. There's nothing like it.
