The Illuminati Illuminate the Stage

OK... so that's a tacky title, but it certainly applies. After more recommendations than I can remember, I finally got out to see The Illuminati for the first time at The Silver Dollar last Saturday, June 3.

I won't bore you with what I thought of the three opening acts. They were OK, but I was only expecting one warm-up act, not three. That meant hanging in 'til well after midnight for our headliner.

All the same, it was worth the wait. This is a tight-knit trio that plays with an intensity that reminded me of C'Mon -- Ian Blurton's latest project (also a power trio).
