The Feeling of One Hand Cuffed
It's time to mark your calendars for the two marathon up&coming talent fests for the year... Canada Music Week (CMW) and North by Northeast (NXNE).
Canada Music Week is just around the corner and the schedule is already out. The key dates are March 7-10. 350 bands performing at 35 clubs over 3 nights. That may not be a week, but it'll seem like it. Wristbands now available. Check out the web site for details.
Bands still have about 3-4 days left to submit a pitch for NXNE, the next "cuffed" event... June 7-9. Another 3 day event with a similar format. A bit more international than CMW and definitely at a warmer time of year to be hopping from club to club between gigs.
