Martian Awareness Ball
Saturday is St. Patrick's Day, and the place live music fanatics should be is the Horseshoe for the 29th Martian Awareness Ball.
It's organized by Mary Margaret O'Hara and her brother Marcus (part of the infamous O'Hara family that also includes Catherine of SCTV fame).
From previous experience, this is the best St Paddy's Day live music party imaginable.
As usual promo is mostly word-of-mouth, but the roster of talent in previous years has been amazing. As usual the musical "mystery guests" are not generally pre-announced, which adds to the fun.
So, if you haven't already made plans, this one is for you... Saturday, March 17. Wear something green, or stay home and be green with envy!
