Corpusse - Almost More Than One Can Comprehend!

I first saw Corpusse on stage a few years ago at Third Floor Reilly's and was totally blown away with his performance. We're talking performance art here... way beyond a rock band with theatrical gimmicks!

At his recent show at Kathedral, he appropriately had Nash the Slash as an opener. Nash had opened for DOA not long ago, so I didn't add more photos this time around. Suffice it to say that Nash wore his white long-tailed suit and used himself as a projection screen, while running a separate slide show on big screen, as he ran through his classic tunes on violin and mandolin with tape loops to back him up.

If you had never seen Nash the Slash before, that alone might have blown you away, but Corpusse staged an act that raised the bar by an order of magnitude.

With keyboards and electronics behind him, and two dancing chicks to provide eye-candy, Corpusse raged on through his material. His "poetry" comes across as a screaming rant against the world. It's a gothic/horror display of angst like you've never see anywhere else.
