The Sadies Rock the 'Shoe
The photo captures The Sadies' lead singers (and brothers), Dallas Good (right) and Travis Good (left) being joined by their mother (middle), doing backup vocals.

The Sadies are quite unique in their bizarre blend of country/surf/garage music.
They're heavy on guitar work, and perhaps a little too reluctant to do any serious singing.
That's not to say that they're poor singers (they're not)... they just seem much more comfortable picking strings than belting out their latest songs.
Much of the gig included numbers from their new CD, New Seasons, but they left room for some of the old classics.
Guest performers included Ian Blurton (C'Mon) and Rick White who also opened for them.
Rick apparently also contributed a few songs to the new record. In both the opening act and on stage with The Sadies it was odd to see a White having to read the lyrics from his notebook while he sang. I've seen drugged out aged rockers like Marianne Faithfull and Jim Carroll do that, but Rick is still young enough that his brain shouldn't be fried yet. Maybe I'm wrong.
