Parkinson's Benefit Saturday

Normally, promotional material ends up on our PromoZone page, but every now and then you'll see a "heads-up" for stuff that we especially care about here in the Chronicles.

In this case I want to draw your attention to the Light of Day Benefit at the Cadillac Lounge this coming Saturday, December 8. The Light of Day group travel the world, organizing events like this in aid of a cure for Parkinson's disease.

The $30 cover is a bit high for Cadillac Lounge, but it looks like a good cause. It has an early start at 8pm.

• Tom Wilson (ex-Junkhouse and a Blackie & the Rodeo Kings favourite)
  
• Joe D'Urso (a personal favourite from New Jersey)

• Kat Goldman (Toronto's own folk favourite)
• Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers (Pittsburgh.. you'll swear Dylan and Springsteen have morphed together into this nonetheless highly-original singer/songwriter)

It's great opportunity to see awesome performers, and giving to a great charity all in one evening.
